Steve Duerre has been involved in the Property Management industry for 16 years. He began his career selling Multi Family units in Southern California for the largest Multi Family brokerage firm in the nation.
Steve took a position in a small Property Management firm and within four years he was instrumental in increasing the management portfolio from 1,000 units to over 15,000 units with a staff of over 50 employees.
Steve Duerre co founded The Equity Group in 2002 with Scott Ellis, a native to the Central Valley. The firm achieved almost instant success and currently The Equity Group has close to 2,000 units under management and employs 16 office staff along with several on-site managers.

Scott Ellis lived in Visalia for 18 years before he relocated and graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. He lectured part time in real estate courses at the College of the Canyons in Valencia, California. Scott is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California and a Certified REO Broker.
Scott currently is selling assets for Fannie Mae, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, HSBC Bank, RMS Asset Management, CLMG Corporation, Nationwide REO Brokers, Equity Pointe Services, Beal Bank REO, Meridian Asset Management Services and One West Bank.
In addition, Scott is a Board of Directors for the Tulare County Association of Realtors & President for 2015, President of the Boys & Girls Club of Tulare County and has personally closed over 3,500 units totaling over a half-billion in residential, multi-family and commercial real estate.
